This is CRAZY! We were a part of an AWESOME wedding (Christine & Mike… remember them?) that was recently featured on Style Me Pretty… one of the biggest wedding blogs out there and a wifey favorite! What an honor!
We spun an incredible wedding for Christine & Mike in Philadelphia last year! We blogged about it a little bit here, but am glad that Hi-Fi Weddings featured it in all its glory with loads of pictures and the awesome playlist we put together!
Reminiscing about the night makes me want to break out in a jig… a cool jig. 😀
This piece of FAN MAIL is an oldie but goodie! We helped Franscesca & Wilson pull a wedding together in 2 short weeks back in 2009! From ceremony & cocktail sound to the live performance first dance, slideshow, and bringing the party to the dance floor, we handled it all! AND we were all dazzled by the awesome view of Philadelphia from the Pyramid Club, located on the 52nd floor of a huge skyscraper in Center City!
WOW! Thank you so much for producing such a memorable event for Wilson and I. You exceeded our expectations in all aspects, from your MC service, the excellent music selection, and you and your team’s professionalism! Everything went as planned and no detail was missed. I am truly thankful for your fast service as well as we wouldn’t have been able to pull off this spectacular wedding in 2 weeks without you.
Right before it got ICE COLD on the east coast (seemed like so long ago… brrr), I drove down and teamed up with DJ Mike to provide the soundtrack for Christine & Mike’s awesome Hotel Palomar wedding in Philadelphia. Wait, did I mention it was awesome?
Christine & Mike wanted a huge party and that’s what they got! 1 set of skyped in grandparents (impressive!), 2 hours of dancing, 3 entertaining toasts, and 110 songs later (that’s just the dancing part), it was a WRAP! We captured so much good footage that I had to make a 4 minute edition (scroll to the bottom) in addition to the 2 minute time lapse video you see above capturing the essence of a smashing dance party!
AND we had the pleasure of meeting and working with some true wedding professionals: Chill Weddings (hey christina!) and Our Labor of Love. Whitney (who makes a cameo in the video) and the team from OLOL were super nice and their smilebooth setup was so buttery smooth. It was a beautiful sight to see in person!
Anyways, CONGRATS AGAIN CHRISTINE & MIKE! It was a blast!
4 minute edition:
I don’t know if you know this, but I was dying for the dancing to get started at my wedding. I really needed to blow off steam on the dance floor and was sad that you only got to spin for 45 minutes – but it was the most fun 45 minutes of the wedding for me (am I supposed to say that? … 🙂 Thank you so much for everything. I only wish I could throw another huge party to dance to your skillz of a DJ again. 🙂Continue reading
